Male NPT one end, female NPT one end forged street elbow in Stainless Steel 304/316, Duplex Steel and Super Duplex Steel — 90° and 45°, manufactured to ASME B16.11 in Class 2000# and 3000#.

The Forged Threaded Street Elbow (also called a service elbow) differs from a standard threaded elbow in that it has one male NPT external thread on one outlet and one female NPT internal thread on the other. A standard threaded elbow carries female NPT threads at both outlets and requires a separate nipple to connect it to a female-threaded fitting. The street elbow eliminates this by carrying a male thread at one end that can be screwed directly into a female-threaded fitting outlet, making the assembly more compact.
Cunimet Alloy International manufactures forged street elbows in 90-degree and 45-degree bend angles to ASME B16.11 in Class 2000# and 3000#. The male NPT end and the female NPT end are both precision-cut on CNC turning centres to ASME B1.20.1 tolerances and individually go/no-go gauge inspected to ensure fit with standard NPT fittings on both ends.
“A” = Centre-to-face (female end). “B” = Centre-to-end (male end). For 90° street elbows. Dimensions for 45° available on request. All dimensions in millimetres.

Dimensions nominal per ASME B16.11. 45° street elbow dimensions available on request. Both male and female ends gauged to ASME B1.20.1 before dispatch. All dimensions in millimetres.
Austenitic stainless steel street elbows for direction changes in chemical, pharmaceutical and process screwed piping where the male end eliminates the need for a separate nipple between the elbow and the adjacent female-threaded fitting.
High-strength duplex alloy street elbows for compact direction changes in offshore instrument piping, chemical plant screwed connections and desalination utility lines where both the male and female thread surfaces must resist chloride corrosion.
Premium super duplex street elbows with PREN greater than 40 for compact direction changes in seawater service, offshore topsides and aggressive offshore screwed piping where maximum corrosion resistance at both thread types is required.
Building compact instrument manifold assemblies where a street elbow connects directly to a gauge valve, transmitter or sample valve body female port without a separate nipple, reducing the number of joints and the overall manifold footprint.
Direction changes in congested pipe racks and instrument tray areas where the shorter assembly length of a street elbow versus an elbow-plus-nipple combination is required to fit within available space between fittings and structural members.
Connecting threaded isolation valves directly to screwed process lines using a 90-degree street elbow where the valve body carries a female NPT inlet and the process line exit requires a direction change at the valve location.
Direction changes in chemical dosing, steam tracing, compressed air and utility screwed piping where the male end of the street elbow screws directly into an existing female tee or coupling outlet to change direction without an additional fitting.
