NPT forged 45-degree threaded elbow in Stainless Steel 304/316, Duplex Steel and Super Duplex Steel — manufactured to ASME B16.11 in Class 2000#, 3000# and 6000#.
The Forged Threaded 45 Degree Elbow redirects a piping run by 45 degrees using screwed NPT or BSP female threads at both outlets. The 45-degree angle provides a gentler directional change than a 90-degree elbow, reducing flow turbulence and pressure drop at the bend. This fitting is used wherever a piping route requires an angular offset or where two 45-degree elbows are specified in place of a single 90-degree elbow for improved flow conditions.
Threaded connections allow the piping to be assembled and disassembled without cutting or welding, making this fitting the preferred choice for instrument manifolds, maintenance-accessible utility lines and any installation where the fitting may need to be replaced or relocated during the system's service life. Cunimet Alloy International manufactures these elbows through closed-die forging, ensuring a dense grain structure at the elbow body. All threads are CNC-cut to ASME B1.20.1 (NPT) tolerances and 100% go/no-go gauge inspected before dispatch.
“A” = Centre-to-Face dimension measured from the intersection of both outlet axes to the face of either threaded outlet. Both outlets are equal. Thread form per ASME B1.20.1 (NPT). All dimensions in millimetres.

Dimensions are nominal per ASME B16.11 latest edition. BSP threads to BS EN 10226 available on request. All dimensions in millimetres.
Lightest-wall threaded class, equivalent to Schedule 80 pipe wall. Suitable for moderate-pressure utility services, drain and vent lines and instrument tapping points where the full 3000# wall thickness is not required by the piping specification.
Standard high-pressure threaded class, equivalent to Schedule 160 pipe wall. The most widely specified class for general industrial, oil & gas and chemical process threaded fittings. Suitable for the majority of high-pressure threaded piping applications globally.
Heaviest-wall threaded class, equivalent to Double Extra Heavy (XXH) pipe wall. Specified for very high-pressure service, hydraulic power circuits and applications where project specifications or client standards require the maximum available wall thickness in a threaded fitting.
Austenitic stainless steel for chemical, food, pharmaceutical and water treatment service. SS 316 provides enhanced resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion, making it the standard choice for coastal, marine and offshore applications where SS 304 would be susceptible to corrosion.
Austenitic-ferritic dual-phase alloy with approximately twice the yield strength of standard austenitic stainless steel and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing environments. Used in offshore, desalination and chemical plant threaded piping systems.
Premium super duplex alloy with PREN greater than 40 for the most demanding corrosive environments including offshore topsides, subsea production systems, seawater injection and desalination plants where standard duplex grades are insufficient.
